Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LawnOps, the business management software provided by LawnOps ("LawnOps", "we", "us", "our"), including our web application, marketing websites and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use LawnOps

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by staff you invite.

2. The Service

LawnOps provides tools for quoting, scheduling, run sheets, invoicing, on-site payment collection and an optional lead-generating website for lawn and garden care operators. Some features (AI quoting, AI routing, AI assistant, third-party accounting/calendar integrations) depend on third-party providers and may be limited, changed or discontinued if those providers change their services.

3. Subscription & billing

4. Your data and content

You (the Operator) retain ownership of the client, job and business data you enter into LawnOps ("Your Content"). You grant LawnOps a licence to host, process and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (e.g. generating quotes/invoices, syncing to connected integrations, powering AI features you use).

You're responsible for having the necessary rights and consents to enter your customers' personal information into the Service, and for using that information in accordance with applicable privacy law (including the Australian Privacy Act).

5. AI features

AI-generated quotes, price estimates, route suggestions and assistant responses are provided to save you time, but are estimates only and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content (pricing, line items, schedules) before sending it to a customer or relying on it commercially. LawnOps is not liable for losses arising from unreviewed AI output.

6. Payments & third-party services

Payment processing is provided by Stripe and subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. Optional integrations with Google Calendar, Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks are provided subject to each provider's own terms; LawnOps is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Free lead-generating website

If you publish a LawnOps-hosted website, you're responsible for the accuracy of the content you publish (business claims, pricing, service areas) and for responding appropriately to leads it captures. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a security or legal risk to LawnOps or other users. You may cancel your account at any time. On termination, we retain your data for a reasonable period in line with our Privacy Policy before deletion, except where retention is legally required.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms — except where Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply and cannot be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LawnOps is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss (including lost profits or lost business) arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the Service or refunding the fees paid for the affected period.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, notify active Operators by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
